RELIGION 164S - ANTHROPOLOGY OF HINDUISM
European colonial, North American, and Indian accounts of Hindu practices and worldviews. The limits and possibilities of "anthropological" approaches to understanding Hinduism. The intersections between Hindu "traditions," ethnography, and diasporic movements.
